Raw material preparation:
Freshly cut wood arrives at our facility, and during processing, sawdust from our own production is generated.
Drying:
The sawdust is fed into a drying complex, where it is thoroughly dried to a moisture level of 8–10%.
Grinding and pelletizing:
The dried material is ground and then transferred to a pelletizer, where—under high pressure—pellets with a diameter of 6–8 mm are formed. This size is ideal for most heating systems.
Cooling and cleaning:
The finished pellets are cooled, cleaned of dust, and inspected for quality.
Packaging:
The final product is packed into 15 kg bags or big bags (approx. 1000 kg), depending on the customer’s needs.
The pellets produced by Karpowicz Group hold an official quality certificate issued by the Institute of Research and Certification (IBiC), confirming that the product complies with the EN ISO 17225-2:2021 standard.
Thanks to this, the pellets offer:
Product class: A1 (pellets with very low ash content ≤ 0.7%)
Moisture level: ≤ 10%
Pellet size: diameter 6–8 mm (according to the standard)
